Anger

by Daniel McNeet on August 1, 2012

Good day, good people.

For devotees of the English language: Clamant is an adjective. It means loud or insistent.

What are the unintended consequences of anger? What is the unseen or unknown unknown?

Only you can make yourself angry —think about it. When you make this mistake, your anger interferes with good judgment. You may say or do things in a clamant way which you will regret. Never believe your regrets can be cured, forgiven or forgotten even by a sincere apology.

One of my friends told me he gets so angry watching the news, he cannot watch it. Considering man’s inhumanity to man around the world, I agree with him. The impotent and toothless U.N. obviously cannot prevent the genocide and human rights’ violations. I thought this was the purpose of its founding. It is a tragedy to anyone who cares — and I do.

My friendship and love of others are surpassed only by my loyalty to my country. I have written about the corrupt culture of the financial services industry and the banks. I just finished reading Charles H. Ferguson’s book, Predator Nation Corporate Criminals, Political Corruption, and the Hijacking of America. It will make you angry. If you wish to know about the oligarchy’s or plutocracy’s VICE — vertically integrated criminal enterprise, you must read this well-researched book. The information was no surprise to me. I have written about these criminals on more than one occasion. The book is about how and who were responsible for the recession of 2008 and their continued VICE. It leaves no doubt the politicians, corrupticians, the financial services industry and the banks were and are engaged in VICE. The people who worked and work in the businesses have no respect for the suckers whom they defraud and call denigrating names. When are they going to be indicted? I only hope the sheriff of Wall Street, Preet Bhahara, the U.S. attorney for the New York southern district is doing something about these criminals. He has said, “I have a chance to make a difference.” I believe him and am waiting for him to do so.

If anger presents itself, consider and contemplate before you speak. Or as some would say, “Engage your brain before you exercise your mouth.” If you do either, you will avoid making a noncorrectible error. No matter what you have done or said, someone will happily reveal the information to your disadvantage when it is to someone else’s advantage.

The Internet is a powerful medium. It allows and provides libelous statements about entities which also include people. The cowards disguise their locations and ISP addresses. If you are a victim, do not allow your anger to respond; for if you do, the libeler will have won. These people should be treated the same as hecklers. There is no way to win with these people. You may wish to ignore them. Replying to them with denials only gives them what they want. You can also report them to the site IT and try to have them banned. Depending on the situation, the FBI may be of service.

Can you atone effectively for a misdeed? I do not think so. What is your opinion?

Anger is not beneficial, but it is understandably unavoidable sometimes. This is particularly true, if you care about victims of abuse of power, and if you care about your country. One occasion comes to mind — the reading of Ferguson’s book. What is your thought on the contribution you can make to prevent the cause of your unproductive anger?

The unseen or the unknown unknown may be the unexpected and unforeseen violence perpetrated by a person whom is not the object of the offensive deed or remark, but by a misguided and/or delusional perpetrator who does not know the offended person but punishes severely the person who committed the offense.

I hope this post will give you something to consider. To be successful you must understand other people’s opinions and care about them.

I care about your opinion. Contacting me with comments and constructive criticisms at Daniel McNeet with honesty and pleasantness their constant companions will always be welcomed.
