Homomania

Good day, good people.

For devotees of the English language: Homomania is the hatred of gays and lesbians. Homophobia is the fear of them, and I do not know anyone who is afraid of them, but they do hate them. It is another insidious-addictive prejudice in our world. The intolerant homomaniacs need to be reeducated.

The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon addressed the African Union summit. He told the leaders of the nations present in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that they should stop discriminating against gays, treating them like criminals and second-class citizens.

Homosexual acts are illegal in most African countries, including key Western allies such as Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt and Botswana. Also, many compassionate-religious leaders of African churches lecture their flocks against homosexuality. I can evaluate the reason with logic: Nations and religions are against birth control and homosexuality because less people means less money.

Our world’s soul is in peril, because the nations do nothing about the addictive prejudices which afflict and disease our planet. When it comes to mounting a campaign against prejudices and reeducating the addicted, the intolerants, it is the morally silent, ineffective and toothless UN. The civil war on this world will continue until all of its people are treated equally in every area of society.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed an audience of diplomats in Geneva. She called for the rights of gay people to be respected. “Gay people are born into and belong to every society in the world. Being gay is not a Western invention. It is a human reality.” The United States agencies consider gay rights when making aid and asylum decisions.

John Nagenda, an Ugandan presidential adviser, reacted angrily to Mrs. Clinton’s speech. He told the BBC: “David Cameron said the same thing. Now this woman is interfering. If the Americans think they can tell us what to do, they can go to hell.”

Ban missed an opportunity at the summit to give an additional unimpressive and ineffective lecture on the oppression and repression of women to the members of the African Union. Why? Secretary Clinton missed the same opportunity in her address to the diplomats in Geneva. Why?

The United States is equally guilty of blatant discrimination in some places, but subtle in others.

The solution is: Confrontation with and the reeducation of the intolerants is the solution. We must turn them into recovering bigots. Intolerance is an addiction like alcohol, drugs and any other dependence.
