Money Is Not the Root of Evil

by Daniel McNeet on February 21, 2012

OPERATION DOWNFALLGood day, good people.

For devotees of the English language: Privative is an adjective. It means causing a loss.

If good people do nothing when evil presents itself — then it will succeed.

If the color of venality is black and the color of greed is green, then colors of corruption must be black and green — money

Money is just paper with the illusion that it has worth. The person who holds the money may be the root of evil if he or she has a lack of moral sense. Money may corrupt some, but remember the billions of people in this world that it does not. When you allow your desires to control you and you do not control your desires, you can succumb to the overwhelming desire to have more money than you need — greed. When you worship the god of money, Greed, and you pray for more you will never have enough. This insatiable desire will never allow you to rest easily, because of your fear of privative money will become overwhelming.

One’s conscience and moral sense are elastic, malleable, and adjustable for one’s benefit — financially speaking of course. One’s goal should be to listen to their moral sense, their inner muse and not be distracted by the society around them or the detractors in it.

What is your thought on money is not the root of evil?
